Erin Lee is a portrait & documentary photographer whose work spans a variety of commercial and artistic projects. Currently based in Melbourne | Naarm available for assignments and collaborations within Australia or internationally.
Represented by Le Space Gallery. 

Erin is originally from Aotearoa | New Zealand and has a Master of Arts in Photography. Having lived and worked in New York and Mexico City she has an international exhibition history and an extensive client list. During her time based in Mexico City, Erin was a frequent contributor to Vice magazine and her editorial work has been published with other outlets such as CNN, The Guardian, Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal and Frankie.

Her first artist photobook Este Lado, This Side was a finalist in the Independent Category for the Lucie Foundation Photobook Prize, the Perimeter x Photo 2020 International Photobook Prize, The Kassel Dummy Award and was acquired by The Photo Book Museum in Cologne.

Her most recent personal work, The Crimson Thread was awarded an honourable mention for the PhMuseum Women Photographers Grant, nominated for the C/O Berlin Talent Award, the Residency Award at Landskrona Foto Festival and as a finalist for Photolucida Critical Mass.
